教師隊(duì)伍 Faculty
湖南師大附中英語組成員共46名，其中，特級教師2名，高級教師27名，擁有碩士學(xué)位者13名。英語組秉承著敬業(yè)奉獻(xiàn)，專注專業(yè)的精神，致力于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合能力。在開放式的教學(xué)中，英語組的老師們能有效管理課堂，積極組織活動，以學(xué)生為主體，通過任務(wù)型教學(xué)，從各方面幫助學(xué)生更上一層樓。我們的目標(biāo)不僅僅是幫助學(xué)生在成績上有更大的突破，還希望能幫學(xué)生拓寬知識面，提升文化素養(yǎng)，形成全球意識。憑借著先進(jìn)的教學(xué)理念，系統(tǒng)的教學(xué)研究，豐富的教師培訓(xùn)，英語組的老師們立足于校本課程，鉆研課堂教學(xué)，落實(shí)課后輔導(dǎo)，在湖南省甚至全國都獲得同行的高度稱贊。
English Teaching Group consists of 46 teachers, 27among whom are entitled senior teachers and 13 have obtained master degree. Yangmeiying and Liushuying have been honoured as superfine teachers. As a devotional and professional team, we have been focusing on making a difference to our students. Not only do the students benefit tremendously from our effective training to prepare them for all kinds of tests to pursue their academic dreams successfully, but also task-based, student-centered and open-minded classes have greatly broadened their horizon, increased their cross-cultural awareness and enhanced their global competence. The faculty stands out locally or even nationwide due to our innovative teaching methodology, action research and customized teacher training programs. School-based curriculum and after-class activities have also proved our striking features.

特色教師發(fā)展 Distinctive Teachers’ Development
1. 專業(yè)提升 Professional Improvement
教師的專業(yè)發(fā)展是教師業(yè)務(wù)水平不斷進(jìn)步的保證。我校每位英語教師都要求參加專業(yè)技能賽科及公開課，鍛煉專業(yè)素養(yǎng)，提高教學(xué)能力。
The essence of teachers’ professional development is the continuous increase of teaching expertise. Every English teacher in our school is required to either take part in professional competitions, or give demonstration lessons in order to improve and enhance his/her teaching skills.
2. 學(xué)術(shù)研討 Academic Communication
學(xué)術(shù)研討是教師之間思想火花的碰撞，是一場思想的盛宴。通過相互學(xué)習(xí)，共享經(jīng)驗(yàn)，研討活動為我們提供了數(shù)不清的新思想，新方法，激發(fā)了更深層次的思考，是共同進(jìn)步的理想平臺。
Academic communication is one of the most important part of teachers’ conventional activities. New, innovative, and brilliant thoughts can be stimulated by exchanging ideas and sharing experience in English teaching with peers, which helps to promote the overall development of English teachers.
3.對外交流 External Study
為了滿足對國際間交流的需求，擴(kuò)寬教師的視野，接觸最新的動態(tài)，更新知識框架，我校每年都會外派教師去國外合作學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)交流。通過各種合作，我校英語教師在創(chuàng)新思維方面有了明顯的進(jìn)步。
With the aim of satisfying the growing need of international communication, English teachers in our school will take every chance of studying outside to broaden their horizon, absorb new idea, and update knowledge structure. It also provides opportunities for teachers to cultivate their own creative thinking.
